Tarsheed Energy installs solar PV systems for sixth school

Tarsheed Energy has installed solar PV systems for the sixth school in Bahrain with a total capacity of 625 kW. A total of 1,065 solar photovoltaic panels were installed on the rooftops of Al Iman School which consist of eight buildings as well as at the school’s parking lot. The project will cover a large portion of the school's energy needs which in turn will contribute to reducing carbon emissions that are equivalent to 14,811 tons of clean energy. This is equivalent to 2,465,00 trees planted over a period of 10 years.

This project is considered to be one of the largest clean energy projects at the school level in the Kingdom of Bahrain to date.

Mr. Seena Dashty, Managing Director of Tarsheed Energy has said, “We are glad to launch our latest project of the installation of solar PV systems for the sixth school which reflects our dedication and commitment to a more sustainable future.”

The newly installed solar PV systems will also provide an excellent learning opportunity for the students at the school.
